Aldi’s latest ‘Domino’s’ takeaway treat hits the shelves for £1.49

Budget supermarket Aldi has now stocked the perfect sweet treat option to compliment your Domino’s replica favourites.

Customers can now enjoy the ultimate Saturday night ‘fakeaway’ by tucking into their indulgent gooey cookies.

Customers have continued to be impressed by Aldi’s range of takeaway products, very often comparing them to the likes of Domino’s.

And Aldi  has launched a range inspired by the pizza’s chain, the Liverpool Echo has reported.

And while many of us still like to treat ourselves to the real thing at the weekend, while pubs and restaurants are closed, it’s always worth knowing there is a cheaper supermarket option.

Aldi has now released Carlos Takeaway Chewy and Gooey Cookies, costing £1.49 for a pack of four. This comes in at more than £3 cheaper than Domino’s Gooey Cookies, which are priced at £4.99 for four.

The cookies went on sale in Aldi stores this week and shoppers can find other Domino’s replicas if they want to create a full on fakeaway.

Shoppers recently discovered Aldi’s 49p  Carlos Takeaway Garlic and Herb dip, which is similar to the pizza chain’s garlic and herb sauce.

One person on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group said: “I personally thought it tasted exactly the same as Domino’s”

Another added: “Best dip I’ve had in ages!! I need to get more.”

The store also has a 99p Garlic Pizza Bread, similar to Domino’s £4.99 version. The Carlos Takeaway range includes stuffed crust pizzas, priced from £1.59 with toppings such as Cheese Feast and Double Pepperoni, plus regular pizzas, in BBQ Chicken or Pepperoni for £1.69.
