Be an Ibiza A-lister for a day – a champagne lifestyle on a budget

Many people have champagne tastes when it comes to holidays and travel, but have to manage on a beer money budget.

So when the chance to spend a day as an A-lister in Ibiza was offered, it was too good to turn down.

The Balearic island and its near neighbour Formentera were already welcoming holidaymakers from most EU country before British visitors started to return at the end of last week.

After a great flight with Jet2 from Manchester Airport, spirits lifted immediately for everyone on the flight when the doors to the aircraft opened at Ibiza Airport.

A private transfer to the magnificent Grand Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort & Spa was waiting.

The complex is an all-inclusive 5-star hotel located in the beautiful Playa d’en Bossa, overlooking the longest stretch of white sand beach in Ibiza.

And it got even more luxurious in the allocated suite, which included a large private terrace complete with sunbeds and a hot-tub.

Set among beautiful lush gardens, it offers a relaxed environment with quality services. It shares facilities with the neighbouring Grand Palladium White Island Resort & Spa, allowing guests to take full advantage of the Infinite Indulgence experience, where everything is included.

But as A-lister wants to get out and about – and the need to be seen in the best places starts very early with the resort’s legendary Unexpected Breakfast at the nearby Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.

The venue has revolutionised the daytime party concept in Ibiza, combining luxury accommodation with famous events and a chilled out party vibe during daylight hours.

By night this exciting spot plays host to top DJs like David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia. By day, it’s a chilled out vibe and is the best place for a luxurious beginning with the shimmering Mediterranean just a few steps away.

Rooms in the hotel, which offer a ringside view for revellers, can cost more than £1,000 a night, but non-hotel guests can make a reservation for the Unexpected Breakfast, subject to availability.

Unexpected Breakfast is the perfect way to start the day and prepare for what’s ahead.

After spending time mingling with the hedonistic diners at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, there’s the short jaunt to Ibiza Town for the 30-minute ferry journey to Formentera.

Pacha is a globally famous name linked with nightlife and partying but its offering in Formentera is a complete change of direction with the brand new Casa Pacha.
