One thing is for certain, Christmas will be very different this year.
But retailers are still holding their annual sales, in a bid to cheer up shoppers.
The likes of Debenhams, Boots and Tesco have already kicked off their autumnal sale events, with toys and gift sets on offer.
And now, an insider has revealed when Sainsbury’s will be holding its yearly toy sale.
The supermarket typically kicks off the event in mid October, in line with the half term school holidays.
This year, the sale will commence on Wednesday, October 13.
Deals will be exclusive to stores, so you won’t be able to find them online.
Brands such as MARVEL, Barbie, LEGO and Hot Wheels are likely to be reduced.
Deals website, moneysavingcentral.co.uk leaked the sale start date, and says it’ll come to an end on Tuesday, October 22.
A savvy shopper has also shared a picture of her local Sainsbury’s store, where the shelves were packed with toys.
Posting on the Extreme Couping and Bargains UK group, her caption read: “Sainsburys – these are in our local store im presuming getting ready for their sale next week. You will find lots of toys repeated on each shelf (i haven’t taken a photo of the normal toy aisle BTW).”
All of the toys were marked full price, but the shopper predicted they’d be reduced next week.
Replying to another group members commented, she said: “They are normal ticket price hopefully will be half price on Wednesday.”
