Starbucks has announced it will be closed during lockdown.
The St Stephens branch posted that as of 5pm on Friday, January 8, it will be closing its doors “until further notice”.
In a post two days ago the coffee chain said it was still open for takeaway and mobile orders.
However, a picture of coffee beans displaying the message ‘stay safe’ accompanied an updated statement saying they will now be closed.

“Hope everyone is ok and keeping safe.
“We will be open for trade tomorrow 8.30am to 5pm.”

It was closed down in July 2019 as part of major structural changes on site but returned in September the following year.
