Viewers have complained about Strictly Come Dancing‘s opening routine on last night’s show.
The much-loved BBC One show dazzled viewers with colourful performance dubbed “fabulous'” and the “campiest, glitziest opening ever”.
Professional dancers Giovanni Pernice, Gorka Marquez and Johannes Radebe performed in drag alongside a giant pink stiletto in a Priscilla Queen of the Desert-inspired routine.
It seemed like typical Strictly style, but many viewers were unimpressed with the routine.

Those who didn’t like the performance took to social media to share their thoughts.
“Used to be a family show. Will not anymore,” moaned one.
“It is one thing to support equal rights and completely another to promote homosexuality. Very sad indeed,” said another.
A third said: “Strictly gone weird tonight”.
“My grandchildren are completely confused…” said another viewer.
“So many questions from my nine-year-old,” another tweeted.
Many viewers did enjoy the performance, and would like to see more routines similar on future shows.
One viewer praised the dancers and said: “Best opening ever – please keep up the inclusive content BBC and Strictly! Johannes you are the best!”
“My only issue with the opening is they all had way better looking legs than me,” mused another fan.
The Strictly Come Dancing results show will take place tonight on BBC One at 7:25pm.
